Moray House made the journey south to the borders with a relatively young side.  The average age of the team was significantly reduced by the absence of Banty and Gary McKinnon.  Gary was too busy blowing out candles at his tea party; Banty was on hand with a very large fire extinguisher due to the severe fire risk with so many candles.  Hope you guys had fun in the soft play area.

MH started the game well and tried to spread the ball wide at every occasion. After only ten minutes, we were rewarded with our first try as Sacha went over in the corner.  Ali Lewis surprisingly converted.   Four more tries followed, Rusty, Shaun, RG and Sacha’s 2nd gave Moray House a 31 point half time lead.

St Boswell’s had more possession in the second half but could only score once due to some excellent defending.  MH added three tries in return.  Final score 7 – 50

Tom and Phil (from Edinburgh Uni) made their debuts and both had great games.  Good to see Shaun back playing for the club and he well-deserved his hat-trick
